Beaten by a better side!

Watton hosted their first home fixture with a Merit one league fixture against Crusaders 2 at Dereham Road.
After a two week spell of solid results the team went into the match feeling confident that they should beat Crusaders based on their past seasons performances.
How wrong and a lesson learnt!
Extremely hot conditions and the hard playing surface did hamper the game but as everyone would say ‘it’s the same for both sides!’
