Junior Rugby Fun Night and Registration Evening

26/08/2007

Watton Junior Rugby Club are eagerly awaiting the start of the new season, which is expected to be the biggest and best yet.

To kick off the new season we are having an evening of fun and games with a FREE barbecue on Tuesday 4th September from 6.30pm.

So why don’t you come along, bring Mum and Dad, join in with the fun and games, meet the some of the coaches and members of the senior team, help yourself to the barbecue and register for next season.

The club caters for boys and girls from 5 years upwards and are happy to welcome new beginners as well as the more experienced. Coaching sessions take place at Watton Sports Centre between 6.30 and 7.30pm every Tuesday evening during the season.

Families are welcome to help in many ways from coaching to kitchen duty and we encourage parents to watch their children in a relaxing and friendly environment. Last season we had over 100 youth who joined us during the year.

We will be running a FREE evening of coaching specifically designed to give parents the bare essentials they need to be able to help with coaching sessions & possibly if interested we can get you onto Rugby coaching courses.  This will be very informal just bring a pair of trainers and an open mind.

The session will contain various warm ups, game skills, fun games and much more….. The first session will be on Tuesday 11th September at 6.30pm the same time as the Junior training.

Depending on the response we hope to do more in the future with the aim of having more people interested in helping the kids with their rugby.

So come along to Watton Sports Centre, join in the games and have fun learning and improving your Rugby skills.
